Contract manufacturer and development partner

We are a contract manufacturer of complex metal parts and assemblies built to customer drawings (build-to-print) and, at the same time, a development partner. We support our customers from prototype to series production – including inspection, finishing, assembly and functional testing.

  • Single parts and assemblies to customer drawings – from prototypes to series.
  • Engineering and CAM: design, 3D modelling, simulation, CAM programming, process planning and design for cost-efficient manufacturing.
  • Finishing and assembly of mechanical, pneumatic and electrical assemblies with testing – ready for installation or direct delivery.
  • We can also take over raw-material purchasing and supply-chain management for our customers.
“Good customers are not won by chance, but with knowledge and a system – quality starts with organisation.” – Damjan Habjanec, co-founder and managing director

Batch sizes and materials

We manufacture from prototypes to series production. Our core is small to medium batches, while some products are high runners with larger series – for these we use twin-spindle lathes and robotic cells for CNC machine tending.

Materials: steels, stainless steels, aluminium, brass, bronze, copper, titanium, plastics, carbon fibre, cast iron and silicon carbide.

Quality and certifications

ISO 45001Occupational health and safetyBureau Veritas

EN 9100 includes all requirements of ISO 9001:2015, so a separate ISO 9001 certificate is not required. Our EN 9100 representative reports directly to the managing director; aerospace complaints are tracked separately.

  • First article inspection: Before series production starts, every new product goes through first article inspection (FAI / EMPB) approved by the customer.
  • Measurement: We prepare a measurement report for every critical characteristic. Inspection reports are prepared to customer requirements and on customer forms.
  • Traceability: Full traceability for every batch, from material and certificate to shipment: material and lot, operations and machines, operators, measurements, external processing and packaging. Material certificates are checked on receipt; non-conformities are recorded with cause and quantity.
  • Key indicators: First-article approval rate and complaint rate are tracked regularly, on-time and correct delivery monthly – as key indicators kept within internal targets.
  • Complaints: Handled with root-cause analysis and corrective actions, and normally closed within 30 days.
  • Drawing changes: Every drawing change triggers a technical review and, if needed, a new quotation. Only the current revision is used in production; previous digital revisions are archived.
  • Document control: The quality system is based on a formal process map; documentation is controlled and digital – printed copies are not valid.
  • Contract review: Every new enquiry is reviewed commercially and technically before we prepare a quotation.
  • Counterfeit parts: We have a counterfeit-part prevention procedure: suspect parts are quarantined in a separate location and the supplier and authorities are notified.
  • Gauges and maintenance: Measuring equipment is managed systematically and calibrated regularly. Preventive maintenance is carried out by our own maintenance team, supported by the machine manufacturers' authorised service.
  • Qualification: Qualifications for individual machine types, training and authorisations are managed systematically.

Supply chain, logistics and confidentiality

For materials and external processing we work with long-standing qualified suppliers, rated on delivery punctuality and quality by material group; for key materials and processes we have back-up suppliers.

We adjust the production plan every day, so we can respond quickly to urgent customer needs. Order status and delivery dates can be reported directly from our system.

Before shipment, parts are industrially washed and dried, followed by a final visual inspection and packaging in our own packing department. Delivery, transport and customer-specific documents and labels are prepared to customer requirements.

For export we work with proven transport partners with a very low transport-damage rate; for local deliveries we use our own vehicles. We have our own bar-stock and material warehouse.

Customer documentation is handled confidentially, and we sign NDAs when required.

Digitalisation and continuous improvement

Production is managed in an ERP/MES system that automatically records machine status and times; we use Power BI for analytics and smart tool cabinets.

CNC programs are created with modern CAM software and transferred to the machines over the network. One operator can run several machines at once; production is monitored with real-time analytics.

Twin-spindle lathes and robotic cells for CNC machine tending are used mainly for larger series. We can also work with customers through their supplier portals.

Technical and process improvements are introduced systematically against an annual target. We are developing our own system that uses cameras and artificial intelligence to detect cutting-tool wear – for better tool utilisation, less scrap and more stable processes.

Organisation and cooperation

We have dedicated functions: technical director, quality department, business development (BDM), sales, purchasing, assembly and IT – so customers have a clear contact person for every area. Our staff speak English, German and Slovenian; English is the preferred language of communication.

We are an established, medium-sized family company with a young, ambitious team. Day-to-day management is in the hands of an experienced management team; the owner remains involved in strategic decisions and his son is increasingly involved in the company, ensuring long-term continuity. Contracts and insurance are managed at management level.

The company is stable and profitable, with equity growing over the long term; we hold a platinum AAA Certificate of Excellence awarded by Dun & Bradstreet.

Production runs Monday to Friday in two shifts (7:00–23:00) plus a third night shift. We have a showroom with products by industry and can offer customers an interactive virtual tour of production before a visit.

We monitor environmental indicators and energy consumption and recycle chips and coolants. We offer on-the-job and practical training for young people and support the local community through sports and cultural sponsorships (e.g. athlete Kristjan Čeh, the Slovenian Footgolf Association, the Arsana festival).

Yes. EN 9100:2018 is equivalent to AS9100D and JIS Q 9100:2016. It was issued by DQS (DAkkS accredited, IQNet member).

Are you ISO 9001 certified?

EN 9100:2018 includes all requirements of ISO 9001:2015, so a separate ISO 9001 certificate is not required.

How large can parts be?

Turning up to 510 mm diameter in the chuck (bar stock up to 70 mm), 3-axis milling up to approx. 1300 × 650 × 600 mm and 5-axis up to approx. Ø 550 × 300 mm; 3D measurement (ZEISS CMM) up to 2,000 mm.

What batch sizes do you produce?

From prototypes to series – mostly small and medium batches, some products in larger series.

Which materials do you machine?

Steels, stainless steels, aluminium, brass, bronze, copper, titanium, plastics, carbon fibre, cast iron and silicon carbide.
