Technology
Advanced technology supports demanding metal components, digitally managed production and precise control from documentation to delivery.
We machine a wide range of materials
In our production we machine steels, stainless steels, aluminium, brass, bronze, copper, titanium, plastics, carbon fibre, wood, cast iron, silicon carbide and other materials.

Digital traceability and planning
Technology, digital documentation, production control and planning form a traceable workflow from technical data to the finished product.
IT support process
- Electronic exchange of technical documentation
- Bill of materials for each product
- Digital transfer of production data to machines
- Digital material records for each product
- Automatic reports
Digital production planning
Product flow through production is tracked in real time in a digital production module. When dates or the order situation change, the MRP and CRP production plans are generated and updated automatically in the ERP system.
Five work centres and four work orders; today is Thursday of week 1. N4 is complete; N1 and N4 were released on Monday, N3 on Wednesday, N2 is not yet released. Released orders are forward-scheduled from their release, unreleased orders are backward-scheduled from their due date, and on conflicts at a work centre the earlier due date has priority. So N2, due on Friday of week 2, only starts on Tuesday of week 2. When the N2 due date is moved to Wednesday, all its operations (the order is not yet released) move to earlier slots, and N3 completion slips by 1.2 days but stays on time.

A camera that sees tool wear.
We are developing a camera-based system for optical detection of cutting tool wear. The goal: optimal tool usage, less scrap and even more stable processes.
